The dark brown sauce is typically made with over 30 ingredients, such as chilies, nuts, spices, veggies, chocolate, and many other ingredients - including almonds, making it sweeter than the original mole. Enigmatic, bold, and all-around delicious, the sauce is tedious and time-consuming to prepare. Luckily, Doña Maria did all the heavy lifting for us and presents this ready-to-eat mole sauce. The sauce can be heated at home and poured over your favorite poultry - when served with red rice you have one of the most authentic Mexican dishes ever!
