The Don Julio Reposado matures for eight months in a light oak barrel to become a real top-quality tequila. Julio González Estrada founded the Don Julio distillery in 1942. This tequila is still produced using a traditional method and is made from 100% blue agave. It is grown in the highlands of Los Altos de Jalisco (Mexico). The distillery must constantly expand its production capacity. The quality of the Don Julio Tequila Reposado is impressive.
